ВВЕДЕНИЕ
Настоящий практикум представляет собой сборник упражнений для студентов 1 курса специальностей «Международные отношения» и Регионоведение (США и Канады)», изучающих дисциплину «Домашнее чтение».
Цель практикума - расширение активного и пассивного лексического запаса студентов, развитие у студентов навыков чтения и устной речи на английском языке на базе разработанной авторами системы упражнений и заданий.
Практикум состоит из уроков. Все уроки содержат упражнения на закрепление активной лексики, упражнения, направленные на развитие навыков чтения, навыков устной речи по проблемам, обсуждаемым в рассказах, а также на формирование навыков письменной речи. Задания каждого урока предполагают заданную последовательность в работе, однако возможна выборочная проработка отдельных упражнений в зависимости от поставленной цели.
Практикум предназначен для студентов специальностей, изучающих английский язык углубленно. Оно также может использоваться при обучении студентов переводческих специальностей.
Материал практикума апробирован на кафедре межкультурных коммуникаций и переводоведения.

Agree or disagree with the following. Give your reasons:
