1) I once saw a TV programme about extreme sports and decided to try. I felt terrified when I was on the bridge, 80 metres above the river. I didn’t want to do it, but all my friends were watching me. I closed my eyes and jumped. It was amazing! I want to do it again. 2) I’ve always loved winter sports. I skied lots of times. But now I’ve discovered this new sport. It has all the excitement of surfing but on the snow. The main thing is to keep your balance while going down the mountain. 1 The University is situated right by the river, so we can train regularly (we also have the use of a swimming pool in winter). What is special about it? It is considered to be more than just a sport. It can help the individual to overcome day-to-day problems. It can be good therapy for students and can get them away from the worries and pressures of studying.
